Dive Centre Manly is a long established scuba diving business in Sydney, in a street-front shop.
The brief included updating the retail environment and presentation of the product and reviewing the signage and logos across all customer touch points. Catriona was engaged to plan the concept and manage the project to completion. A new brand identity, store graphics and POS communication were designed by Rob Bryant of www.trebordesign.com who collaborated on the project.
Practical finishes were incorporated to withstand the extreme wear and tear of a very high volume of customer traffic bringing in sand, salt water and heavy diving equipment.
The result is a bright, open space enjoyed by customers, from novice snorkelers to serious, high-tech divers, with space for servicing of equipment, browsing dive tours, retail sales and hire. The project was achieved with a modest budget and has resulted in significant compound growth since completion in 2011.
